Lerato's Journey

When we first shared Lerato Dibe's story, she was living with a severe visual impairment. With just 5% vision in one eye and limited vision in the other, even the simplest daily tasks had become a challenge, and she needed specialised treatment to improve her vision.

After Lerato's story aired on Good Morning Angels, LottoStar stepped in to fund her treatment through Operation Healing Hands, with the support of a dedicated team of eye care specialists who generously donated their services.

Following her treatment, Lerato's results exceeded all expectations. What was once uncertain has become an incredible milestone in her journey, opening the door to opportunities that once felt out of reach.

Today, she has 50% vision in one eye and 70% in the other. One of the things she is most excited about is learning to drive - something she once never imagined would be possible.
