Embrace the winning vibes of
LottoStar’s Woza Win competition with
Ukhozi FM, where the proceeds raised by the listeners, will go towards The Star Foundation in support of
Zero2Five, a non-profit organization dedicated to promoting the advancement of early childhood development.
One of the organization’s cornerstones is to bridge the gap in early childhood development, particularly in marginalized communities in Kwa Zulu Natal and the Eastern Cape. Zero2Five extends its reach to over 800 under-resourced Early Childhood Development Centres. These centres are often overlooked and underfunded.
Children from all spectrums possess equal potential for growth and cognitive advancement in the early stages of their lives. The age bracket of children most impacted by malnutrition in South Africa is between 0 and 5 years old. A number of children under the age of 5 years old suffer from stunting - a result of inadequate nutrition. This hinders children from attaining complete physical growth.
The organization’s mission centers on adding to their chances of surviving and developing by getting the children on their nutrition and educational programme so that they have a chance to start their primary schooling well-prepared and physically fit.
The proceeds from LottoStar’s Woza Win competition with Ukhozi FM will go towards the running costs of the Early Childhood Development Centres supported by Zero2Five.
